Themed Vocabulary
Themed vocabulary sections cover all key areas of the curriculum and support the development of complex vocabulary acquisition. Each provides a diverse selection of tasks and challenges which are rooted in the types of questions children can expect to encounter in both KS2 and 11+ papers.

The tasks mirror GL and CEM tasks, including synonyms, antonyms, homographs, prefixes and root words, word relationships, cloze passages, shuffle activities and missing word questions. There is a specific focus on the importance of context to an understanding of vocabulary.
